According to Gevorg Kostanyan, representative of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the European Court of Human Rights, 330 applications were represented against the Republic of Armenia by 14 July 2006. 146 applications were not admitted, four cases were dismissed. Eight decisions on the cases referring to Armenia have been made, no verdicts are made yet. No oral hearing has been held with regard to the cases referring to Armenia. 33 cases were discussed with the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The Executive has performed official standing and the court procedure has been exhausted. It is anticipated that a decision or verdict will be made in 2007.
