
AYLA has different organizational subdivisions that are aimed to bring together AYLA members according to their professional, cultural, and sport preferences.
AYLA has the following organizational structures:
a) professional committees
b) clubs
c) law students' division
The main goal of the professional committees is to support the professional development of the association's members that work or are specializing in various legal spheres, as well as organizing seminars and workshops and promoting legal scientific research.
AYLA Members can be involved in the following professional committees:
a) History of Armenian Law
b) Civil Law
c) Criminal Law
d) International and Constitutional Law
e) Human Rights
The members of the Association may join the following clubs:
a) Cultural
b) Sport
The aim of the cultural and sport clubs is to fulfill the recreation needs of AYLA members by organizing cultural and sporting events, thus encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
AYLA members that are interested in different cultural areas may join the organization's Cultural Club, and the Sport Club is available to those AYLA members interested in sport. An AYLA mini-football team has been established within the Sport Club.
In 2006 AYLA founded the Jessup Club of Armenia. Foundation of JCA was aimed to advance comprehending and learning the international law by the Armenian law students, introduction the modern international legal experience, as well as to promote carrying out independent research in the sphere of international law. The Club also assists in publicizing the Jessup Competition in Armenia and to intensify understanding of its importance, implanting its traditions and ensuring its continuity.
Any individual who has had input in the establishment of the Jessup Competition in Armenia may become JCA member. The JCA Regulations provide that any individual who participated in Jessup Competition as a judge, bailiff, or as a member of competing team or otherwise is interested in goals and objectives of the Club may be involved in the activities of the Club.
