3. AYLA MISSION AND VALUES

The Mission of the Armenian Young Lawyers Association is to develop a new generation of highly professional lawyers, having a modern outlook and working to promote the establishment of rule of law, democracy, and the formation of civil society in Armenia, where the people are aware of their rights and their rights are protected.
The values, which the Armenian Young Lawyers Association has adopted since its establishment, are:

• Modern legal culture based upon the heritage of centuries old Armenian values.
• Legally educated society, which is aware of its rights.
• Highly professional lawyers and advocates, possessing a new and modern methodology and working to protect human rights.
• Powerful non-governmental organizations and a strong civil society.
