AYLA branch of Syunik region was established by the decision of the Board
of Armenian Young Lawyers Association made on June 24, 1997. The decision of
AYLA Board made on January 28, 2000 approved the new charter of the Branch
and transferred the center of the Branch from Meghri to Kapan.
The branch carries out activities on the whole territory of Syunik region and
has two offices, which are located in the cities Goris and Kapan.

Syunik branch of Armenian Young Lawyers Association carries out its activities in two main directions:
Kapan office of AYLA Syunik branch provides free legal services to the population of Kapan and Meghri districts of the region.
The office has organized broadcasting of TV programs on Local TV Companies,
which covered the most acute legal issues.
Kapan office of AYLA Syunik branch organizes seminars on different spheres
of the law and human rights as well as on other issues.
