AYLA branch of Shirak region was established by the decision of the Board of Armenian Young Lawyers Association made on January 28, 2000.
The branch carries out activities on the whole territory of Shirak region.

Shirak branch of Armenian Young Lawyers Association carries out its activities in two main directions:

• activities aimed at raising the level of legal awareness of the population Shirak region through provision of free legal services and dissemination of information
• activities aimed at raising the level of professional skills of the law students and lawyers.

Gyumri office of AYLA Shirak branch provides free legal services to the population of Shirak region.

The office has organized broadcasting of TV programs on Local TV Companies, which covered the most acute legal issues.
Gyumri office of AYLA Shirak branch organizes seminars on different spheres of the law and human rights as well as on other issues.

Gyumri office of AYLA Shirak branch provides the following services and legal resources to the law students, young lawyers advocates as well as to other individuals:

• modern legal literature
• computer, e-mail and fax services
• computer software program of Armenian legislation.
