Training on Human Trafficking and Irregular Immigration in Tbilisi
On 30 May through 6 June 2010 the “People’s Harmonious Development Society” (PHDS) organized a training course on “Human Trafficking and Irregular Immigration” in Tbilisi. Lawyers of the Armenian Young Lawyers Association Miss Mariam Osipyan and Miss Tatevik Dallakyan attended the training as well. Before the training course in Tbilisi the participants had participated in the distance training course where they studied materials on human trafficking and irregular immigration issues.
About 45 representatives from six countries: Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan attended the training.
During the one week training the participants got acquainted with the general legal problems of the sphere and cooperation of the non-governmental organizations with the government. They studied the peculiarities of cooperation of the law enforcement and the social bodies. During the training representatives of six countries studied the psychological peculiarities of communication, specificities of examination of cases on human trafficking. Further the participants studied the peculiarities of children’s trafficking, after which they exchanged experience which exist in their countries.
