Seminar on the Protection of Handicapped Rights
On 31 may 2010 Seminar on the Protection of Handicapped Rights took place in AAC of Kotayk Marz of the RA. The seminar was organized by “Unison” NGO for Support of People with Special Needs and the Kotayk AAC. First the “Unison” NGO represented the activities which they had carried out aimed at solving the handicapped issues in our country. Representatives of Kotayk AAC spoke about the legislation protecting the rights of handicapped and the bounds of application of such laws. Further the participants discussed the existing problems of the handicapped and the corruption risks as well as other issues, which hinder to solve these problems. The participants came to an agreement to cooperate and to implement joint projects.
