Ararat AARC Provides On-site Consultancy

On 27.05.2007 Ararat Advocacy and Assistance Reception Center organized a meeting with the representatives of village administration and villagers of the village Surenavan with the lawyers of AARC. The meeting took place in the building of village administration at 11:00 a.m. During the meeting the participants discussed the corrupt occurrences which the villagers faced in their practice and tried to reveal the successful mechanisms for struggle against such occurrences.
After the discussions the lawyers of AARC provided legal advice and consultancy services to the villagers. Based on peculiarities of some cases they recommended the beneficiaries to visit the AARC where the lawyers of the office would study their cases more attentively.
Further the lawyers of AARC disseminated the information leaflets of the AARC and as well as the leaflets on the protection of human rights published by the AYLA.

At the end, the representatives of the village administration expressed their gratitude to Ararat AARC for the well organized meeting and noted that such meetings should be carried out regularly, and that would greatly contribute to raising the legal consciousness of population.
