Meeting in School # 1 of Abovyan City
An action “Ecology and We” took place in school # 1 of Abovyan City on 17.04.2010. About 60 teachers, pupils and students took part in this event, which was organized by the Alumni Council Armenia of “Capacity Building in International Relations” program. Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Head of Kotayk AAC was invited to participate as well. During the meeting Mr. Atovmyan greeted the participants and introduced to their attention information on the activities of Kotayk AAC and held a report on “Human Rights and the Corruption Risks Existing in the Sphere of Ecology.” In particular Mr. Atovmyan in his speech addressed the issues of the impact of corruption on human rights and environmental protection. Further he answered to the questions of the participants. Mr. Atovmyan provided legal advice to the participants as well. In the end the head of Kotayk AAC and the management of the school came to an agreement to make such meetings periodical.
