13 TV Programs with Participation of Tavush Advocacy and Assistance center Aired
Since July 2009, Advocacy and Assistance Center of Tavush Marz of the RA in cooperation with “Qamut“ TV Company of Noyemberyan have aired 13 TV programs on anti-corruption issues, including the citizens’ rights with respect to corruption peculiar for the Tavush Marz and the mechanisms how to protect these rights.
The major part of the TV programs were prepared in TV debate format, with participation of the senior legal advisor of the AAC on one side and a representative of the state or local government body, or the law enforcement bodies of the Marz on the other, where they answered to the questions and issues of concern of the TV audience in direct air.
The TV programs were aired directly 2 or 3 times during a month. The main objective of these TV programs was organizing discussions in the framework of the project based on the complaints received from the beneficiaries who had applied to Tavush AAC, and further based on the results of the debates and the study of complaints compile drafts on procedural and system level changes
