Official Ceremony of Signing of Memorandum of Understating between the RA Kotayk Marz Administration and the Armenian Young Lawyers Association
On 2 April 2010 the Ceremony of Signing of Memorandum of Understating between Kotayk Marzpetaran and the Armenian Young Lawyers Association, took place in the office of Kotayk Marzpetaran in Hrazdan City. Mr. Kovalenko Shagaldyan, Governor of Kotayk Marz of the RA, Mr. Aram Danielyan, Mayor of City Hrazdan, Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Young Lawyers Association, Mr. François Vézina, Chief of Party of MAAC Activity, Mr. Eduardo Flores, Deputy Chief of Party of MAAC Activity, Mr. Sergey Sargsyan, Program Coordinator of MAAC Activity, Mr. Marat Atovmyan, Head of Advocacy and Assistance Reception Center of Kotayk Marz, Mr. E. Andrikyan, Prosecutor of Kotayk Marz of the RA, Mr. I. Ishkhanyan, Chief of Police of the Kotayk Marz of the RA, as well as other representatives from Kotayk Marzpetaran, Hrazdan City Administration and non-governmental organizations were present at the ceremony.
Prior to the signing of Memorandum Mr. Shahgeldyan noted the willingness of Kotayk Marz Administration to cooperate with, and shall assist the AYLA and AAC of Kotayk Marz in struggle to reduce the corruption risks in the Marz, and join efforts to make the struggle against corruption in the Marz more effective.
The primary objective of Memorandum is to prevent and decrease corruption risks in Kotayk Marz of the RA, as well as to promote increase of efficiency of struggle against corruption and to raise the level of awareness on the importance of struggle against corruption among the population of the Marz, and to assist to procedural and system level reforms in the legislation, which includes corrupt risks, etc.
