Official Opening Ceremony of Advocacy and Assistance Reception Center of City Talin of Aragatsotn Marz
On 10 June 2009, the official opening ceremony of Advocacy and Assistance Reception Center of Talin City of Aragatsotn Marz supported by the Mobilizing Action against Corruption (MAAC) Activity of USAID, which is implemented by the Armenian Young Lawyers Association, took place in Talin. Talin City Mayor, Head of the Police, representatives the local and state government bodies, international and local organizations, NGOs and Mass Media took part in the opening ceremony. Mr. Eduardo Flores, Deputy Chief of Party of MAAC Activity, Mr. Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan, Talin City Mayor, and Mr. Karen Zadoyan held speeches during the ceremony. The speakers attached importance to the fact of establishing the AARC in Talin City and hoped the Reception Center will have great importance in successful struggle against corruption in Talin region.
During the reception, which took place after the official part, Mr. Karen Zadoyan familiarized the guests with the activities of the Center.
