Official Opening Ceremony of Advocacy and Assistance Center of Tavush Marz supported by the Mobilizing Action against Corruption Activity of USAID took place in Ijevan

On 3 December 2008, the official opening ceremony of Advocacy and Assistance Center of Tavush Marz supported by the Mobilizing Action against Corruption (MAAC) Activity of USAID, which is implemented by Tavush regional branch of the Armenian Young Lawyers Association, took place in Ijevan City. Representatives of the RA Governmental Bodies, as well as of the international and non-governmental organizations, and mass media attended the ceremony.
In their speeches at the opening ceremony, Mr. Armen Ghularyan, Governor of the RA Tavush Marz, Mr. Mark Levinson, USAID Democracy Advisor, and Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Young Lawyers Association, attached importance to the fact of establishing Advocacy and Assistance Center in Tavush Marz, and hoped it would have significant role and importance in carrying out successful struggle against corruption and its elimination. Then Mr. Levinson handed Grant Certificate for Advocacy and Assistance Center of Tavush Marz to Mr. Karen Zadoyan, AYLA President.
Further, Mr. Armen Ghularyan and Mr. Mark Levinson unveiled the sign of the Advocacy and Assistance Center near the entrance of the office. After that, Mr. Zadoyan invited the guests to reception, where, in informal and friendly atmosphere introduced the staff and the center activities to the guests.
